Justice
正义
Justice sits upon her throne between two pillars, holding a sword in her right hand and balanced scales in her left. Unlike the traditional blindfolded figure, the Rider-Waite Justice looks directly forward with clear, unflinching eyes — she sees all and judges with full awareness. Her crown bears a small square, the symbol of well-ordered thought. The purple veil behind her conceals the mysteries of karmic law. The double-edged sword represents the power of reason and consequence — it cuts both ways, reminding us that our actions have outcomes we must face. Justice is the card of karma, accountability, and truth. It represents the universal law of cause and effect — every action has a consequence, every choice leads somewhere. When Justice appears, it asks you to examine your actions honestly, take responsibility for your past, and trust that fairness will ultimately prevail.
