Seven of Wands

WandsFire#7

A figure stands on high ground, wielding a wand defensively against six wands rising from below. Their footing is uneven — one shoe doesn't match the other — suggesting they were caught off guard and had to scramble to defend their position. The Seven of Wands is the card of standing your ground against opposition. You have achieved something (the high ground), and now others challenge your position. This is the inevitable consequence of the Six's success: visibility attracts challengers. The card asks whether you have the courage and stamina to defend what you believe in, even when outnumbered. The mismatched shoes remind us that defending our position is rarely comfortable or elegant — it requires improvisation, determination, and grit. When this card appears, don't back down. The challenges you face are a sign that you are doing something worth fighting for. Hold your ground.
