The High Priestess

The High Priestess sits between two pillars — one black (Boaz) and one white (Jachin) — at the entrance to Solomon's Temple. Behind her, a veil decorated with pomegranates conceals the mysteries of the inner sanctum. A crescent moon rests at her feet, linking her to the cycles of nature and feminine intuition. She holds the Torah scroll, partially hidden, suggesting knowledge that reveals itself only to those who seek with patience. The High Priestess embodies the divine feminine — the keeper of sacred wisdom that transcends logic and reason. She represents the power of stillness, the wisdom found in silence, and the truth that emerges when we look inward rather than outward. When she appears in a reading, she calls you to trust your intuition, honor your inner knowing, and pay attention to your dreams and subconscious messages.
